The SelectUSA Investment Summit is the highest-profile event dedicated to promoting foreign direct investment (FDI) in the United States. The Investment Summit plays a vital role in attracting and facilitating business investment and job creation by raising awareness about the wide range of investment opportunities in the United States and enabling necessary direct connections between investors and U.S. economic development organizations (EDOs).

Each Investment Summit focuses on the U.S. investment environment, industry trends, and new opportunities. Additionally, the Investment Summit features senior government officials, C-Suite business executives, and other thought leaders.

The  2021 virtual Investment Summit was an unprecedented success! The first virtual Investment Summit saw record-breaking numbers with over 3,400 participants, representation from all U.S. states and territories, and over 80 international markets. The event featured over 500 world-class speakers and over 200 sessions with interactive virtual exhibition halls for Economic Development Organizations, Service Providers, and SelectUSA Tech participants. 

SelectUSA was able to bring everyone together by utilizing a very robust networking platform where participants can make the connections they need to push their investments forward.

The 2021 Investment Summit agenda had highlighted a vigorous SelectUSA Tech program, Industry Spotlights, and a dynamic networking feature in the platform. During the virtual Investment Summit, Secretary Raimondo officially launched the Select Global Women in Tech Mentorship Network, the new SelectUSA program providing support and educational content for international female tech entrepreneurs as they navigate the process of exploring investment in the U.S. This year, we had over 70 female founders from 30 different markets participating in the inaugural event.
